Chief Corporate Planning and Budgeting Officer
MASTER’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (WITH FINANCE, ECONOMICS AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT)
- Work closely with the Finance Section to support institution departments in developing annual results based work plans and budgets for the implementation of the Strategic Plan
- Undertake regular monitoring of expenditure against the planned allocations and result areas and prepare trend sheets and financial analysis for the consideration of senior management
- Assist in preparing supplementary budget proposals, as and when needed, in collaboration with institution departments and the Finance Section
- Support the University’s finance and budget-related work, including financial planning, budgeting. monitoring and reallocation of funds across work areas
- Assist in developing strategies in guiding institution departments to plan, budget ad track performance using value for money approaches
- Analyse outcomes of High Level Meetings and prepare reports on their financial implications
- Undertake research, where and when necessary, on issues of strategic importance and relevance to the implementation Strategic Plan
- Provide support on Governing body matters including summarising and editing relevant financial reports and preparing presentations
- Support the Division’s work in governance, Result-based monitoring and evaluation
International Programmes Liaison Officer
4-YEAR DEGREE IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OR BUSINESS STUDIES
- Primary contact person for all international prospects, staff and students within the University
- Communicate with other organisations or the public on behalf of the University
- Facilitate interventions on an international level
- Manage and oversee student recruitment and retention
- Create and manage student recruitment and retention stats, targets and achievements
- Identify issues in communication and coordination within the University and create solutions for overcoming these challenges
- Foster healthy relationships between the University and professionals in the industry by facilitating transparent communication
- Create a list of relevant people from other companies, or organisations at an international level
Postgraduate Moving Image Specialist
MASTER’S DEGREE IN FILM/ANIMATION
- Provide fourth year supervision with practical research project
- Provide practical supervision in the following Moving Image specialisations-Sound Design, Film & TV, Production Design, Screen Acting, Game Design, Screenwriting, Animation, Motion Design
- Prepare for and deliver classes pertaining to all field(s) of expertise in the Digital Arts Moving
- Image Be available for one-on-one crit sessions with students being taught
- Seek out educational and cultural engagements for students with relevant industry and cultural bodies Serve as quality controller for the BA Moving Image Programme within the School of Digital Arts and assist in the ongoing review and development of the programme
- Ascertain lacking skills within the lecturers and serve as lecturer facilitator and trainer for the BA Moving Image Programme within the School of Digital Arts
