Position Overview

Key Responsibilities for Driver Jobs in Lusaka

Transportation:

• Safely transport staff, management, guests, and authorized persons to designated locations on time, following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Deliver and collect documents, parcels, and office supplies as required.
• Plan efficient travel routes to ensure punctual arrivals.

Vehicle Management:

• Perform daily inspections before and after use to confirm vehicles are clean, fueled, and roadworthy.
• Monitor mileage and fuel consumption, reporting any mechanical faults, accidents, or damages immediately.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, licensing, and insurance renewals to maintain compliance.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate logbooks documenting mileage, destinations, fuel purchases, and maintenance activities.
• Retain fuel receipts and service records, and report monthly vehicle usage and fuel consumption.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all vehicle licenses, insurance, and road tax are valid and up to date.
• Conduct routine safety checks and enforce passenger seat belt use.
• Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.

Administrative Support:

• Assist with errands related to company operations and support office logistics when not driving.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate; a Certificate or Diploma in any field is an advantage.
• At least three years of professional driving experience, including transporting company executives and staff.
• Proven experience maintaining detailed vehicle logbooks.
• Valid Zambian Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
