Position: PSV (DG) Truck Drivers (Volvo / Shacman – Manual & Automatic)
Time Trucking Limited and Time Petroleum Limited , leading transportation and petroleum companies in Zambia, are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill vacancies for PSV (DG) Truck Drivers .
Job Requirements & Experience:
- Must be above 25 years of age .
- Minimum of 5+ years’ proven experience driving Volvo or Shacman trucks and articulated trailers (both manual and automatic gearboxes).
- Valid Commercial Driver’s Licence ( Class CE & Dangerous Goods – DG endorsement).
- Must be a Zambian Citizen with a valid Green National Registration Card (NRC).
- At least 3 traceable references or certificates of service from reputable transport companies.
- Valid Police Clearance and Fingerprints Certificate (not older than 12 months).
- Sound mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.
- Strong commitment to road safety, defensive driving, and transit regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy commercial Volvo/Shacman haulage trucks across domestic and regional routes.
- Ensure safe handling, loading, and transit of petroleum products and commercial cargo.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and strictly adhere to transit safety and compliance protocols.
