The University is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
Job purpose, Roles and Responsibilities;
The IT Lecturer is responsible for delivering Information Technology courses, assessing and mentoring students, developing course materials, supporting curriculum improvement, participating in research activities, and contributing to academic and administrative functions within the department and university. Additionally, the position involves undertaking administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- All academic qualifications must be in the same field of specialization.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver lectures and practical laboratory sessions in Information Technology.
- Experience in student supervision and academic mentoring will be an added advantage
- At least one (1) peer-reviewed publication in a recognized academic journal will be an added advantage
