Position: Operations Assistants
Location: Kitwe, Copperbelt, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
A reputable logistics company in Kitwe is seeking energetic and detail-oriented Operations Assistants to coordinate transport fleet movements, dispatches, and logistical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist operations managers in scheduling truck dispatches, cargo tracking, and route monitoring.
- Liaise with drivers, loading yards, weighbridges, and client receiving points.
- Verify delivery notes, weighbridge tickets, and manifest documentation.
- Compile daily operational reports on fleet turnaround times and turnaround metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma or Certificate in Logistics and Transport, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Relevant operational experience in logistics, transport, or mining freight is an added advantage.
- Good computer skills, especially Excel, and strong communication abilities.
- Reliable, disciplined, and willing to work in Kitwe.
