Zambia Sugar Plc, a leading sugar producer and part of the ABF Sugar group, is pleased to announce multiple full-time medical job opportunities at its Nakambala Estate in Mazabuka, Zambia. We are seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join our Estate Support Services department in permanent roles that offer meaningful contributions to healthcare delivery within our community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the delivery of nursing care to ensure safety, quality, and compassionate patient services.
Supervise nursing personnel and coordinate activities across the hospital, clinics, and occupational health services.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and duty scheduling of nursing staff.
Ensure adherence to nursing standards, medical ethics, clinical governance, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage nursing supplies, medical equipment, and inventory.
Oversee nursing budgets, including overtime expenses and resource allocation.
Coordinate infection prevention protocols, medical outreach initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
Promote ongoing professional development and uphold effective patient care practices.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Full Grade 12 Certificate.
Degree in Registered Nursing.
Diploma in Occupational Health.
Advanced Diploma in Midwifery is an advantage.
Preferably seven years of relevant managerial experience.
Registration with the appropriate professional health bodies.
Basic computer literacy.
