Overview
Job Description
- Project accounting for multiple projects
- Preparation of cost allocations
- Preparation of accounting journals
- Preparation of daily payment requests for the projects
- Accounting for foreign currency denominated transactions
- Conducting periodic inventory counts
- Reviewing weekly inventory transfers
- Reviewing monthly sales invoicing for the Projects
- Assisting with preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports
- Assisting with preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts for the projects
- Assisting with regulatory and tax compliance for the Projects
- Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Key Attributes
- Minimum 3 years work experience in accounting
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience working for Agri-processing an added advantage
- Good working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and any accounting package
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent Analytical skills
