Livingstone’s adventure is looking for a talented sales and marketing consultant who will deliver strategic and practical advice to enhance our companies marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical and proficient in all areas of sales and marketing.
Livingstone’s adventure offers a convenient one stop booking facility for the most popular Livingstone activities. We allow Africa’s natural wonder to be experienced the way the first explorers must have seen them. Itineraries are customized according to visitor interests, with emphasis on the pristine wilderness, great river wildlife and superb birding.
Position: Sales and Marketing consultant
Location: Livingstone, Zambia.

Job purpose
• Studying company profile and operations to understand it’s marketing needs.
• Monitoring outcomes and identifying new markets.
• Conducting marketing research to identify trends and commercial opportunities.
• Developing and implementing a marketing strategy according to objectives and budgets.
• Prepare detailed proposals and marketing plans.
• Assisting ongoing marketing campaigns.
• Developing and implementing internal brand management strategies.
• Advise on branding, positioning, communications and other marketing issues.
• Liaise with marketing departments and external vendors.
• Monitor marketing projects and analyze results.
• Write reports with suggestions for improvements and new ideas.

Requirements
• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.
• Ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Great communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Must have leadership skills, professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications and skills
• BSc/BA in marketing, communications, business or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a sales and marketing consultant or in a similar role.
• 5 years’ experience in marketing and sales position.
• Proficient in MS Office or working knowledge of IT marketing software.
• Master’s degree in business administration or marketing will be highly beneficial.
