Role Overview

Farmers Africa Zambia Ltd is looking for a skilled, safety-conscious Electrician (1 Position) to oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across our manufacturing and processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, routine preventative maintenance, and emergency electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery, control panels, wiring, and production equipment.
• Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Inspect and maintain industrial wiring, switchboards, generators, and motor control units.
• Keep accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and recommend equipment upgrades.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Full Technical Certificate (FTC), Craft Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Trade.
• Proven practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in an industrial, commercial, or agricultural processing setting.
• Sound knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, motors, and automation.
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is an added advantage.
• Commitment to occupational health and electrical safety standards.
