Position: JCB Driver / Operator (1 Position)

Oasis Energies is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of JCB Driver / Backhoe Operator (1 Position) to support operations in Lusaka, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate JCB backhoe loaders / excavators for site trenching, excavation, material loading, and grading.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on the machine (hydraulic fluid, engine oil, coolant, tracks/tires, safety alarms).
• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to execute technical earthmoving tasks accurately.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform basic operational maintenance, and report mechanical faults immediately.
• Adhere strictly to site safety rules, PPE requirements, and environmental standards.

Key Requirements:

• Valid heavy equipment operator certification or relevant Earthmoving Plant Operator Licence for JCB / Backhoe.
• Demonstrated practical experience operating JCB / backhoe loader machinery on commercial or construction sites.
• Strong technical and practical operational skills relevant to the role.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under minimal supervision.
• High levels of professionalism, responsibility, and commitment to occupational safety.
