Position: Engineering Manager

Role Overview:

The Engineering Manager leads the engineering team, overseeing capital projects, plant maintenance, infrastructure, and transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and coordinate the engineering and maintenance department across mining processing plants and mobile fleets.
• Oversee engineering projects from conception, design, commissioning, to ongoing maintenance.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize asset availability and minimize downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with mining regulations, occupational safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Manage departmental budgets, spare parts inventories, contractor activities, and technical personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or related discipline).
• 5+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role within mining or heavy industry.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mining plant operations, engineering software, and modern mining technologies.
