JOB DETAILS:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repairs in and out of the workshop
• Undertake all levels of servicing, maintenance and repairs of all trucks.
• Capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion as well as supervising and guiding others
• Manage small mobile team of mechanics incl. safety, performance and conformance monitoring
• Prioritise and delegate work within the team
• Manage and control the stock of supplies and order
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate
• Use variety of specialist equipment and tools
• Liaise with site management with regards to required repairs and part ordering Liaise with suppliers, source parts and compare prices
• Review inspection and maintenance records to ensure accurate information is compiled for reporting
• Oversee housekeeping and availability of workshop tools, equipment and expendables
• Administrative duties – internal systems, inspections, servicing, etc

Requirements and skills
• Grade 12 with five (5) “O” Levels with credit or better in Mathematics and English Language
• Must be having Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or any related field.
• Must possess strong personality and excellent interpersonal skills.
• 3 years and above working experience in a similar environment.
