1. The Government of the Republic of Zambia has financing under the Drug Budget and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the Contract for the supply and delivery of Blood Safety Commodities.
2. This Tender shall be evaluated by Lots.
3. Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency now invites bids for the supply and delivery of Blood Safety Commodities.
4. Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding (ONB) Method of Procurement via e-GP system.
5. The Evaluations under this Tender shall take into account Preliminary, Technical and Financial evaluation.
6. Bidding shall be conducted through the Electronic Government Procurement Platform (e-GP) system. Participation under this tender is limited to Citizen Bidders only as outlined under section 39(2) of the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020.
7. Bidding documents may be purchased from the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) e-GP Platform at a non-refundable fee of ZMW1,000.00.
8. The bids should be indicated "Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Blood Safety Commodities" and must be submitted through the Electronic Government Procurement System on or before Thursday 30 March, 2023 at 11:30 hours local time.
9. Late Bids will not be accepted. The Tender document in English may be obtained by logging in via the ZPPA e-GP Website at https://eprocure.zppa.org.zm ,
10.Bidders may obtain further information from Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency and submit electronic requests for clarification on the e-GP system.
Submission procedure
11. The deadline for clarifications shall be Tuesday, 21" March 2023 (Seven days) before bid submission date.
12.Bids will be opened at 11:30 hours local time on Thursday, 30" March, 2023.
13. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration as per sample provided under Section Vii: Sample Forms part 5(2).
