JOB DETAILS:
Proflight Zambia is a leading Zambian Airline operating Domestic and Regional scheduled services. Proflight Zambia hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian candidates to fill the position of Security Officer based at Kenneth Kaunda International airport.

1.JOB PURPOSE
• Reporting to the Senior Security Officer.
• Reporting Date: 1st April 2023

2.QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have GCE/School certificate with a minimum of 5 ‘O.’
• Certificate/Equivalent Professional qualification in Security.
• 3 years’ Minimum experience in Aviation/airlines operations.
• Knowledge of International and National Aviation security regulations.
• Knowledge of International and national operational standards and requirements ensuring a safe and efficient Security Operations.
• Valid Dangerous Goods training.

3.SKILLS
• Proficiency in the English language adequate for his/her job functions.

3. Have Emergency response actions awareness.

4.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises hold baggage protection against unauthorized access.
• Responsible for all security operational functions to include screening of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and equipment, guarding Proflight Commuter Services offices, stores, hangars, and aircraft.
• Deployed to various stations and operational areas in accordance with security requirements at base, airport (passengers, baggage, and catering uplifts) and cargo.
• Prepares and distributes security reports to the Senior Security Officer and relevant departments at the end of each shift.
• To carry out periodic security surveys of premises and facilities used by Proflight Commuter Services.
• Any other duty assigned by the superiors.
