SALES MEN

VOLCANO BREWERIES LIMITED – LUANSHYA

We are looking for energetic, ambitious and results oriented individuals to join our sales and Marketing team as Sales Men.

Job Purpose

The Salesman will be responsible for promoting and selling the Company’s products, developing new markets, maintaining strong relationships with customers and achieving assigned sales and distribution targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Promoting and selling the Company’s products to existing and potential customers.
• Achieving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Identifying and developing new customers and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Maintaining good working relationships with retailers, wholesalers, bars, restaurants and other customers.
• Taking customer orders and following up to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Ensuring adequate product availability, visibility and proper merchandising at customer outlets.
• Conducting regular customer and outlet visits according to the approved sales route
• Monitoring competitor activities, prices, promotions and market trends and reporting findings to management.
• Assisting in the implementation of sales promotions, product activations and marketing campaigns.
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and ensuring timely resolution.
• Preparing and submitting accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Ensuring that all sales records, customer information and company documents are properly maintained.
• Safeguarding company property and complying with all company policies, procedures and ethical standards.
• Performing any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess the following:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in sales, preferably in the beverages, brewery or alcohol industry.
• A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage or mandatory, depending on the requirements of the position.
• Good knowledge of the local market and sales territory.
