Job Summary:

Giraffe Creatives is seeking a   Media Planner & Buyer Specialist   to join our agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective media plans to support our clients’ advertising campaigns. As a Media Planner & Buyer Specialist, you will be responsible for researching media options, identifying the best media channels and programs, negotiating rates, placing media orders, and monitoring campaigns to ensure they are meeting our clients’ objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients and account managers to understand campaign objectives and budget requirements
• Develop media plans that are tailored to each client’s needs, including identifying the best media channels, programs, and schedules to reach their target audiences
• Negotiate with media vendors to secure the best rates and placement opportunities for our clients
• Place media orders and manage media schedules to ensure that ads are running as planned and make adjustments as needed
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize media buys for maximum impact and ROI
• Provide regular reports to clients on campaign performance and make recommendations for future media buying strategies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging media channels, and new technologies to ensure our clients are always ahead of the curve
• Collaborate with other teams, including Creative, Strategy, and Account Management, to ensure a cohesive approach to each campaign

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in media planning and buying or related field
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with media vendors
• In-depth knowledge of media planning and buying across multiple channels
• Proficiency in media planning and buying tools and software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
