We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the on-ground HR backbone supporting rapid site growth and operational expansion.
Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to execute workforce and people strategies aligned with business growth
- Support workforce planning, staffing coordination, and organizational scalability initiatives
- Drive employee retention, engagement, and workforce stability initiatives
- Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and leadership
- Support employee engagement activities and workplace culture initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with Zambian labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
- Support audits, reporting, and compliance monitoring to ensure zero penalties or non-compliance risks
- Monitor and support HR-related budget adherence and cost optimization initiatives
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce metrics, and operational analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within HR operations and processes
- Drive HR process digitization and automation initiatives
- Support the implementation of modern HR systems and workflows
- Improve operational efficiency through technology and streamlined HR practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience in HR Business Partnering, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles
- Strong understanding of Zambian labour laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience supporting workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives
- Strong administrative, organizational, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems/tools
