- Work closely with line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities.
- Keep up to date with legal developments and advise management on compliance and risk factors.
- Prepare HR Manual and Company Code of Conduct to be provided to and signed off on by all new employees
- Develop, implement and maintain HR policies.
- Monitor, implement and review the system of performance appraisals and continually develop as necessary
- Manage external training provision as and when required
- Handle conflicts, disciplinary actions, grievance and terminations
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Education & Professional Certification
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Membership: Valid, active membership with the relevant HR professional body (e.g., ZIHRM in Zambia, or equivalent local regulatory authority).
Work Experience
- HR Generalist Background: 3+ years of progressive HR experience
