Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC) is a Zambian incorporated power generation, transmission, distribution and supply company. The privately-owned power utility is a member of the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) and a pioneering international power trader in Southern Africa. CEC is publicly traded on the Lusaka Securities Exchange with more than 5,000 institutional and retail investors. The Company's operations are dotted around the Copperbelt Province of Zambia and the Katanga region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). CEC operates in the DRC market through its subsidiary, CEC-DRC SARL
The job holder will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding of new customers to the CEC network, determine network requirements of future investments on the CEC network and other networks in the region and to assess and participate in developments taking place on the national and regional grid in order to foster and safeguard CEC's business interests.
