Nkhuni Farm is looking for three hardworking, physically fit and reliable General Farm Workers to assist with daily farm operations.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving poultry house cleaning, gardening, general farm maintenance and other manual duties.

Successful candidates must be willing to reside at the farm for extended periods and be committed to the day-to-day requirements of farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining poultry houses, including layer chicken houses.
• Removing poultry manure and cleaning floors, cages and surrounding areas.
• Assisting with general poultry farm activities and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Carrying out gardening activities, including grass cutting, weeding, watering and general landscaping.
• Cleaning and maintaining the farm compound and surroundings.
• Assisting with planting, digging, clearing and other agricultural activities.
• Loading, unloading and moving farm materials, feed and other supplies.
• Carrying out any other general duties assigned by the Farm Manager.

Minimum Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
• Hardworking, honest, disciplined and reliable.
• Willing to work and reside at the farm for extended periods.
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Willing to undertake cleaning, poultry and general gardening duties.
• No formal agricultural qualifications required.

Added Advantage

• Previous experience working on a poultry farm, particularly with layer birds.
• Experience in gardening, landscaping or general farm work.
• Basic knowledge of poultry house cleaning and farm hygiene.

Salary & Benefits

• Remuneration will be in accordance with the applicable Zambian statutory minimum wage for a General Worker.
• Free on-farm accommodation provided.
• Applicable statutory benefits, including NAPSA and NHIMA, will be provided.

• This is a farm-based position requiring employees to reside at the farm for extended periods.
• Accommodation is provided for employees only.
• There is no accommodation available for spouses, children or other family members. Applicants must be willing to stay at the farm without family members.
