About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and disciplined Field Operations Officer to oversee our riders and agent network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Overseeing, managing and supporting riders and agents, ensuring efficient field operations and excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities of riders and agents.
- Collaborate in sourcing, onboarding, and train new riders and agents to grow our network.
- Field Visits: Conduct regular visits to verify rider locations, agent sites, and operational areas
- Handle riders/agent performance reviews and welfare matters.
- Assist dispatch team to ensure timely dispatches, collections, and assign deliveries to riders and Agents in line with company standards
- Maintain accurate records of riders, agents, routes, and field activities and report to management.
- Resolve rider/agent related issues and maintain good working relationships.
- Take ownership of on-time delivery KPIs. Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions fast.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years’ experience in field work, preferably someone with a background in courier/delivery service will be an added advantage.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage people and work in the fields.
