MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
WHY THIS JOB EXISTS AT QUANTUM FOODS
To manage the Depot effectively with regards to Feed Sales and Day Old Chicks , customer satisfaction, achievement of depot targets, control of shrinkage and stock management.

Key responsibilities
• Ensure that correct products/feed on the shop floor and merchandised correctly.
• Approach customers who look as if they need assistance, be polite, helpful, and courteous always.
• Ensure Customer queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure that damaged stock is removed from the floor, recorded, and send back to Farm.
• Ensure that stock is handled carefully to prevent damages.
• Ensure that all stock is merchandised according to the company requirements.
• Pack stock in such a way that it is attractive to customers.
• Report suspicious occurrences or people to management and security.
• Ensure cleanness of the shop and surroundings
• Ensure all certificate in the shop are valid, if not report to Supervisor/Manager
• Report/record expiries one month before to the manager with proof.
• Ensure all stock received/sold/transferred is recorded with collect documents.
• Practice FIFO as and when stock is received.
• Ensure to order Feed before you run out completely.
• Maintain detailed sales records of the sales.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position
• Minimum Grade 12 (Metric) or similar qualification.
• Experience in Feed sales and day-old chicks
