Italian School of Lusaka is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic candidate to immediately fill the position of Assistant Teacher. The appointee will report to the Deputy Head (Primary) and directly contribute to all areas of teaching. The Italian School is an International school delivering a rounded Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) programme to children from Nursery up to A-Level.

Main Purpose of the Job
To provide support to the teacher in planning and preparation of daily activities and aid instructional efforts of the teacher in assigned areas. The appointee will ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment in order to increase achievement for all learners.

Qualifications Required
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Relevant Certificate/Diploma
• Teacher-related post-graduate qualifications will be an added advantage Current registration with TCZ as an Early Years Teacher.

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching.
• Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the Assistant Teacher role. Experience working with/teaching diverse groups/diverse students.
