National Milling Corporation Limited (NMC) is looking for a suitably qualified individual to join our Fish Feed Mill team at our Malambo Branch Office in Lusaka.

Position: Additives Mill Operator – Fish Feed Mill Plant
Location: Feed Mill Plant – Malambo Branch Office, Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

• Operating additives milling and batching equipment within the fish feed mill plant.
• Measuring, weighing, mixing, and formulating various micro-ingredients and additive formulation ingredients required for high-grade stock and aquatic feed products.
• Monitoring formulation precision, mixing cycles, and quality consistency according to feed nutritional recipes.
• Conducting routine machine inspections, basic maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness of additive batching areas.
• Ensuring strict compliance with plant health, safety, food quality, and bio-security protocols.
• Working collaboratively with mill technicians, quality controllers, and plant supervisors to meet daily production quotas.

Requirements:

• Full Grade 12 Certificate .
• Diploma in Production Management , Chemical/Industrial Operations, Food Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar mill operator or batching role within feed milling, agro-processing, or manufacturing.
• Able to work accurately with minimum supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, precision weighing abilities, and good numerical skills.
