Role Overview
Oasis Energies is inviting applications from skilled, experienced, and safety-oriented technicians to join our technical fleet workshop as Horse Mechanics (2 Positions) , specializing in mechanical servicing and repairs of heavy commercial truck tractors (mechanical horses).
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, overhaul, and repair heavy truck tractor engines, gearboxes, differentials, and drivetrains.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on heavy-duty commercial truck horses (Howo, Shacman, Faw, Volvo, etc.).
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel injection, and steering systems.
- Conduct road tests and mechanical inspections to ensure prime movers are completely roadworthy and safe.
- Adhere strictly to workshop health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of a Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair (HER), Automotive Mechanics, or related trade.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience working on light to heavy-duty trucks and equipment (e.g., Howo, Shacman, Faw, Volvo, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability in engine overhauls, gearbox repairs, and complex fault diagnosis on commercial haulage trucks.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, disciplined, and capable of working in a busy fleet environment.
