Role Overview:
Solarmacs Energy Limited is a dynamic provider of secure, clean, and efficient solar and renewable energy solutions. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate individual to join our team as a Health and Safety Intern . This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across operational and installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing workplace occupational health and safety procedures.
- Support safety officers during site visits, risk assessments, and routine workplace inspections.
- Help identify potential hazards and suggest practical preventive and corrective measures.
- Promote safety awareness among staff, technicians, and project installation teams.
- Assist in preparing safety documentation, inspection logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant national safety regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Safety Management, or any related field.
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with risk assessments and safety inspections is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
