A reputable manufacturing company based in Lusaka, Zambia, is seeking experienced, technical, and leadership-oriented Production Supervisors to lead manufacturing lines and ensure optimal output quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily plant manufacturing operations, corrugation lines, converting machinery, and shift personnel.
- Ensure production targets, efficiency metrics, and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
- Enforce rigorous quality control standards across all stages of corrugated carton production.
- Monitor raw material consumption, minimize scrap/waste, and optimize machine uptime.
- Ensure full adherence to occupational health, safety, and housekeeping standards on the factory floor.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Past experience in the corrugated carton industry will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and industrial safety protocols.
