Maison Prive Apartments is inviting applications from suitably qualified, motivated, and service-oriented individuals to fill various positions at our fully serviced accommodation facility in Nakonde.
We are looking for professionals who are passionate about hospitality, customer service, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Facility / Operations Supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Ø At least 2 years’ relevant supervisory or management experience, preferably in hospitality or accommodation operations.
Ø Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ø Knowledge of operational planning, staff supervision, customer service, and basic financial management.
Ø Ability to coordinate daily operations and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Ø Supervise staff and coordinate departmental activities.
Ø Ensure excellent guest experience and service delivery.
Ø Monitor maintenance, supplies, cleanliness, and operational costs.
Ø Prepare operational reports and implement management directives.
2. Guest Relations & Reservations Officer (Receptionists)
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate.
Ø Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Customer Service, or Business Administration will be an advantage.
Ø Previous experience in reception, reservations, or customer service is an added advantage.
Ø Excellent communication, telephone, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Ø Professional appearance, welcoming attitude, and ability to handle guest enquiries courteously.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Handle guest enquiries, bookings, and reservations.
Ø Manage check-in and check-out procedures.
Ø Maintain accurate guest and reservation records.
Ø Respond to guest requests and complaints professionally.
Ø Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
3. Housekeeping Attendants
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate preferred.
Ø Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience will be an advantage.
Ø Good attention to detail and knowledge of hygiene and cleaning standards.
Ø Honest, reliable, organised, and respectful of guest privacy.
Ø Ability to perform routine physical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Clean and prepare apartments and rooms for guests.
Ø Change bed linen and replenish toiletries and supplies.
Ø Maintain cleanliness in common areas.
Ø Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing supplies.
Ø Ensure rooms and apartments meet the required cleanliness standards.
4. Maintenance & Grounds Attendant
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate.
Ø Practical skills or training in plumbing, electrical work, general maintenance, gardening, or related fields will be an advantage.
Ø Previous maintenance or groundskeeping experience is desirable.
Ø Good problem-solving skills and attention to safety.
Ø Ability to perform minor repairs and routine property inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Conduct routine inspections of the property and equipment.
Ø Perform minor repairs within their level of competence.
Ø Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces.
Ø Monitor utilities and report faults promptly.
Ø Ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and presentable.
5. Marketing Officer
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Certificate or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Ø Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or promotions.
Ø Good writing, communication, and creative skills.
Ø Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
Ø Ability to develop marketing campaigns and attract customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Promote Caskan Apartments and its services.
Ø Manage social media platforms and digital marketing activities.
Ø Develop promotional content and campaigns.
Ø Identify business development and partnership opportunities.
Ø Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports.
6. Security Personnel
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate preferred.
Ø Previous security experience or relevant training will be an advantage.
Ø Good observation, communication, and reporting skills.
Ø High level of discipline, honesty, and alertness.
Ø Ability to follow security procedures and respond appropriately to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Control access to the premises.
Ø Conduct routine patrols and monitor the property.
Ø Maintain visitor and incident registers.
Ø Protect guests, staff, and company property.
Ø Report suspicious activities and security incidents promptly.
7. Bartender
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate.
Ø Previous experience as a bartender or in a bar environment is an advantage.
Ø Knowledge of beverage service, stock handling, and basic drink preparation.
Ø Good customer service and communication skills.
Ø Honest, presentable, organised, and able to work under pressure.
Ø Ability to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Ø Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar.
Ø Monitor beverage stock and report shortages.
Ø Handle customer orders professionally.
Ø Follow responsible beverage service and cash-handling procedures.
8. Chefs
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate.
Ø Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field will be an advantage.
Ø Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar kitchen environment.
Ø Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, kitchen hygiene, and food safety.
Ø Ability to prepare a variety of meals consistently and work under pressure.
Ø Creativity, discipline, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Prepare and cook meals according to the establishment’s menu and standards.
Ø Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation.
Ø Ensure proper food storage and kitchen hygiene.
Ø Monitor kitchen stock and minimise food wastage.
Ø Follow food safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
9. Waiter
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Grade 12 certificate.
Ø Previous experience as a waiter or in customer service will be an advantage.
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Good personal presentation, patience, and attention to detail.
Ø Ability to work effectively in a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Welcome and attend to guests.
Ø Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Ø Serve meals and drinks promptly and professionally.
Ø Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas.
Ø Communicate guest requests to the kitchen and bar.
Ø Ensure guests receive excellent customer service throughout their visit.
