The role of a Document Controller is crucial for maintaining organized and accessible project documentation. This position ensures that all documents are correctly filed, tracked, and distributed according to established procedures. The Document Controller will work closely with various teams to manage the flow of information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities include managing the receipt, logging, and distribution of all project-related documents, maintaining an up-to-date document register, and ensuring that all documents are reviewed and approved by the appropriate personnel. The Document Controller will also be responsible for archiving project documentation upon completion and providing support to project teams in document retrieval.
Required qualifications include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in document management software. Experience in a similar role is highly desirable. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
