A reputable manufacturing company based in Lusaka, Zambia, specializing in corrugated packaging, is seeking a qualified, motivated, and results-oriented professional to join its dynamic team as a Human Resources Officer .

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, staff recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations within the manufacturing plant.
• Manage staff records, contracts, attendance, leave schedules, and payroll inputs in compliance with Zambian labour laws.
• Coordinate staff performance appraisals, disciplinary hearings, and grievance handling.
• Ensure workplace compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and statutory labour standards.
• Facilitate training, professional development, and employee engagement programs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• Active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant human resources work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Past experience in the corrugated carton industry will be an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of the Zambian Employment Code Act and labour legislation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
