JOB DESCRIPTION
To install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring all work complies with Zambian electrical codes and safety regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install wiring, lighting, control systems, and electrical panels.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards at all times.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Advanced Certificate or Crafts Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a TEVETA-accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- A valid Certificate of Competency (where applicable) is required.
