We are seeking experienced Supervisors to oversee teams of General Workers assigned to cleaning, gardening, and other general maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

·      Supervise and coordinate General Workers within the assigned work area.

·      Allocate daily duties and ensure that work is completed effectively and on time.

·      Monitor employee attendance, punctuality and productivity.

·      Ensure employees perform their assigned duties to the required standard.

·      Provide guidance and instructions to General Workers.

·      Monitor the quality of cleaning, gardening and general maintenance work.

·      Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment and materials.

·      Identify and report performance, safety or operational concerns to management.

·      Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

·      Maintain daily work records and provide regular reports to management.

·      Address minor work-related issues and escalate serious matters appropriately.

·      Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

·      Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent/Certificate in General Hospitality.

·      Should be able to read and write.

·      A certificate, diploma or other relevant qualification in General Hospitality/Housekeeping, Domestic Management or a related field will be an added advantage.

·      Minimum 4 year’s experience supervising teams performing cleaning, gardening, grounds maintenance or similar general works.

·      Proven ability to coordinate and supervise a team.

·      Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to delegate tasks and monitor employee performance.

·      Ability to enforce workplace standards and procedures.

·      Reliable, responsible and able to work under minimal supervision.

·      Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timelines.

·      Willingness to work day & night shifts, weekends or overtime when required.

·      Valid Drivers Licence

·      Valid Police Clearance Certificate.

·      Valid Medical Report.
