JOB DETAILS:
Spring Pharmacy Ltd is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to Manage one of its outlets in Central Province. We are looking for someone willing to grow in our institution and be part of team in a fast moving environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Temperature recording on a daily basis
• Pre-packing medicines
• Conducing blood pressure checkups on clients
• Recording expired medicines in the respective registers
• Receiving prescriptions and dispensing medicines
• Receiving and recording dangerous drugs in the respective registers
• Providing drug information to the clients
• Managing all the technical duties related to dispensing medicines, e.g. Translating prescriptions and dispensing appropriate medicines.
• Managing the stock of the pharmacy i.e. making orders, receiving and record orders, pricing the products etc.
• Keep all the records related to the purchase and dispensing of all prescription medicines, for inspection by the authority i.e. ZAMRA.
• Separate all the expired, re-called and/or adulterated products in a secured area.
• Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the pharmacy at all times.
• Providing drug information, as well as other information related to the clients.
• Conduct Malaria tests, as well as blood pressure check-ups and providing guidance on the management of the problem (Blood pressure) at hand if necessary
• Study existing and new ZAMRA legislations and advise management on actions needed.
• Ensure the Spring Pharmacy is compliant to regulatory requirements by maintaining records for controlled substances, removing expired and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory and ensuring the staff have valid HPCZ practicing licenses at all times.
• Manage other Pharmacy Staff such as the Pharmacy Technologist

REQUIREMENTS :
• Degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia
• Holder of a valid Practicing License
• At least Two (2) years’ experience as a pharmacist in a retail outlet.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
