Legal Aid Board (LAB) is a statutory body established under the Legal Aid Act chapter 34 of the Laws of Zambia. The Board is mandated to provide legal aid services to persons with inadequate means.

Job Purpose : To litigate, defend and prepare legal documents in order to effectively defend Legal Aid clients.

Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
i. Litigation: Facilitates the timely processing and granting of legal aid, litigates in order to obtain justice on behalf of the clients;
ii. Defense: Effectively defends accused persons in courts in order to secure justice on behalf of the accused;
iii. Legal Advice: Renders appropriate legal advice to clients in order to facilitate the dispensation of justice;
iv. Supervision: Supervises effectively human and other resources in order to obtain objectives of the department;

Qualifications
Grade 12 school certificate and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree Advocate of the High Court of Zambia

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
