JOB DETAILS:
A growing local ICT, specifically software development firm with a blend of global expertise believes in doing the right thing for its customers, its business and its employees. It does this by treating people the way it would want to be treated. Fairly, honestly, with respect and consideration. The firm is looking to grow its dynamic young pool of professionals in software development using a platform for its rapid development approach and therefore seeks to recruit five or more fresh graduates as intern developers for an initial 6 months and depending on performance into full time employment thereafter.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the team lead, the duties and responsibilities of the Intern Software Developer include:
• Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
• Assisting in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
• Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Working with teammates in the migration of older applications (asp) to current Microsoft technologies.
• Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
• Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and onbudget.
• Providing third-level support to business users
Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements
College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Strong desire to learn
Core Competency Requirements
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts
• Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Familiarity with version control concepts
• Preferred Competency Requirements
• Exposure to Microsoft .NET development using C#
• Exposure to web development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of client/server application development
• Knowledge of agile development methodology
