JOB DETAILS:
Zambia Airports Corporation Limited is a reputable aviation organisation with a mission to provide world class Airport and Air Navigation Services at the four major airports namely, Kenneth Kaunda in Lusaka, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula in Livingstone, and Mfuwe International Airports and ten (10) Provincial and Strategic Airports.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals with a vision to excel in the following position:
1. AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICIAN (SMKIA) x 1
This role reports to the Mechanical Technologist. The job holder will be responsible for carrying out Auto Electrical Maintenance and repair works for the effective and safe use of Fire Tenders, Ground Handling Equipment and all Corporation utility vehicles and generators.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Obtain instruction from superior regarding faults/defects of auto electrical nature.
• Perform electronic diagnosis using appropriate tools.
• Check wiring system, repair works by dismantling components such as starter motors, alternators and general electrical components of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete job card reflecting work done, time taken, materials used and submit to superior.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 O’ level credits or better which must include English, Mathematics and Science.
• Craft Certificate in Automotive Electricity.

EXPERIENCE
• Five (5) years’ experience in a related job.
