Job description
Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited provides water and sanitation services in Chingola, Mufulira and Chililabombwe and is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.
Purpose of the Job
Plan, implement, manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, cybersecurity and digital solutions while ensuring reliable operations and alignment with business objectives.
Main Accountabilities
• Develop and implement the IT strategy, policies, procedures and standards.
• Advise management on technology investments and digital transformation.
• Manage servers, networks, internet connectivity, data centres and system performance.
• Plan and oversee system upgrades, migrations and deployments.
• Implement cybersecurity controls, monitor threats and manage incident response, backups and disaster recovery.
• Oversee ERP, accounting, HR, email and other business applications, licensing and integrations.
• Lead IT support, service levels, user training and technology adoption.
• Lead IT projects, budgets, timelines, vendors and consultants.
• Manage the IT budget, costs, assets, procurement and technology lifecycles.
• Supervise and develop IT staff and promote innovation and accountability.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Membership of ICTAZ.
• Proficiency in network administration and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management.
• Cloud computing knowledge in Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud is an added advantage.
• Experience with ERP/business applications, disaster recovery and backup management.
• Ability to drive a manual motor vehicle.
