Role Overview

Carousel Hotel is inviting applications from committed, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping and laundry operations team as Laundry Attendants (2 Positions) .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, washing, drying, ironing, pressing, and folding of hotel linen, towels, bedding, and uniforms.
• Operate commercial laundry machines, washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper handling, dilution, and usage of laundry detergents, stain removers, and fabric care chemicals.
• Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, stains, tears, or damage and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene within the laundry area and linen storage rooms.
• Manage stock counts of linen and report any shortages or replenishment needs promptly.
• Deliver freshly laundered linen and uniforms to appropriate hotel departments in a timely manner.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Previous work experience in laundry or hotel housekeeping operations is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of washing, drying, ironing, and folding techniques.
• Basic knowledge of laundry detergents, fabric care, and stain removal procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to operate washing machines and commercial dryers.
• Strong physical fitness, stamina, and ability to stand and work for extended periods.
• Reliable, honest, punctual, and attentive to detail.
