Role Overview
Farmers Africa Zambia Ltd is looking for reliable, experienced, and safety-oriented Drivers (4 Positions) to join our logistics and distribution fleet in Lusaka.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport company goods, agrochemicals, veterinary products, and staff to designated destinations.
- Conduct routine daily pre-trip vehicle inspections (oil, water, tyres, brakes) and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure company vehicles are maintained clean, serviced, and kept in roadworthy condition at all times.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, recording mileage, fuel consumption, and trip destinations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Zambian traffic laws, highway codes, and road safety regulations.
- Assist with safe loading and offloading of cargo and verification of delivery notes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Class C, C1, or CE / PSV).
- Proven professional driving experience (minimum 2–3 years) with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of road networks in Lusaka and surrounding provinces.
- Traceable references and clean criminal record.
- Sober habits, punctual, honest, and highly reliable.
