Italian School of Lusaka is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic candidate to immediately fill a vacancy in the Lower Primary Section. The appointee will report to the Deputy Head (Primary) and directly contribute to all areas of teaching. The Italian School is an International school delivering a rounded Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) programme to children from Nursery up to A-Level.
Main Purpose of the Job
To be responsible for the holistic development of students from a young age by preparing the classroom for class activities while providing a variety of learning materials and resources. The teacher is also accountable for observation and evaluation of leaners’ performance and development.
Qualifications Required
• Grade 12 Certificate
• A Bachelor of Education in Primary qualification
• Experience in teaching the Cambridge Primary Curriculum will be an added advantage Current registration with TCZ as an Early Years Teacher.
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching.
• Have a secure knowledge and understanding of active learning and teaching methods. Experience working with/teaching diverse groups/diverse students.
