Job Title: Fleet Dispatcher

Location: Chambishi, Zambia

We are seeking a highly organised, responsible, and proactive Fleet Dispatcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating truck dispatch, monitoring fleet movements, and ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilitie s

Coordinate the daily dispatch and allocation of trucks to assigned trips.

Liaise with drivers, operations staff, and clients regarding trip schedules and delivery requirements

Monitor vehicle movements and track trip progress to ensure timely deliveries.

Ensure drivers have the necessary trip documents and authorisations before departure.

Maintain accurate dispatch records, trip sheets, and vehicle movement reports.

Report delays, breakdowns, route deviations, and other operational challenges to management.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, road safety requirements, and transport regulations.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate.

Diploma in Transport and Logistics, or a related field.

Previous experience in fleet dispatching or transport operations is an added advantage.

Good communication, coordination, and record-keeping skills

Microsoft Office Proficiency

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and work flexible hours when required.
