VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: FULL-TIME POSITIONS

Chreso Ministries invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated professionals to fill the following full-time positions at Chreso Ministries Livingstone Hospital, located in Livingstone, Southern Province, Zambia.

We are seeking dedicated individuals with the necessary professional qualifications, practical experience and commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, teamwork and a strong commitment to patient-centred care, operational efficiency and the continued growth and development of the hospital.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. Hospital General Manager/Administrator

Responsible for overseeing the hospital’s administrative and operational functions, financial management, resource mobilisation, business development and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will support efficient service delivery, financial sustainability and overall institutional performance.

2. Medical Doctor

Responsible for providing quality medical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and clinical management. The successful candidate will support outpatient and inpatient services, clinical supervision, patient safety and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

3. Midwife

Responsible for providing comprehensive maternal and newborn healthcare services, including antenatal, delivery and postnatal care. The successful candidate will promote safe motherhood, monitor maternal and newborn wellbeing, and ensure adherence to established clinical standards and procedures.

4. Physiotherapist

Responsible for assessing, treating and rehabilitating patients with physical injuries, disabilities and mobility challenges. The successful candidate will develop appropriate treatment plans, support patient recovery and promote improved physical functioning and independence.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for all positions must meet the following requirements:

• Possess relevant recognised professional qualifications appropriate to the position being applied for with minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional work experience .
• Hold valid registration and practising licences with the relevant professional regulatory bodies, where applicable.
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Possess good organisational, problem-solving and professional judgement skills.
• Demonstrate integrity, accountability and commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
• Be willing to work full-time and contribute to the hospital’s operational and service delivery objectives.
