About The Position


The Consultant (Graphic Design and Translation) will be responsible to design graphics for CIS/CSA manual for aquaculture, format according to the AICCRA project template, translating the manual into iciBemba and Nyanja.

Scope of Work

  • Graphic design of the manual and of about 15 drawings/cartoons as identified by the WorldFish team
  • Format and finalise the manual
  • Translate the manual into iciBemba
  • Translate the manual into Nyanja

Skills, Experience and Knowledge (required to perform this job)

  • Graphic artists
  • Team with linguistic skills to translate from English to IciBemba and from English to Nyasha
  • Formatting documents
  • Communication skills
  • Understanding of aquaculture, agriculture and associated language and technical terms

Desired Skills And Qualifications


Application should offer an estimate for translating a document with 17164 words, designing about 15 drawings and formatting.

This opportunity is open for all applicants. The selection of consultant will be based on the relevant qualification and experience, and the most competitive proposal. The interviews are expected to be held in March 2023 and only shortlisted consultant will be notified and expected to attend the interview. The successful consultant should be available to commence the consultancy contract for  maximum of ninety (90) working days .
