Unilabs Diagnostics & Imaging is seeking a qualified, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores Assistant at our Headquarters in Lusaka.
Position: Stores Assistant
Organisation: Unilabs Diagnostics & Imaging
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day stores operations, receiving, verifying, and recording medical supplies, diagnostic reagents, and administrative goods.
- Maintaining accurate inventory ledgers, stock control registers, and conducting regular physical stock counts.
- Issuing stock and materials to clinical and laboratory departments in accordance with approved requisitions.
- Monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels, tracking expiry dates of reagents, and raising timely replenishment orders.
- Ensuring medical supplies and delicate items are stored under appropriate temperature and hygienic conditions.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, orderliness, and security within the storehouse.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement , Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in stores management, warehousing, or procurement (experience in healthcare or diagnostics is an added advantage).
- Must be a resident of Lusaka .
- Strong numerical skills, computer literacy, and familiarity with inventory management software.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and good interpersonal communication skills.
