SENIOR SECURITY OFFICER VACANCY

Proflight Zambia is a leading Zambian Airline operating Domestic and Regional scheduled services. Proflight Zambia hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian candidates to fill the position of  Senior Security Officer  based at Kenneth Kaunda International airport.

1.JOB PURPOSE

• Reporting to the Chief Security Officer.
• Reporting Date:  1? April 2023

2.QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have GCE/School certificate with a minimum of 5 ‘O.’
• Diploma /Certificate/Equivalent Professional qualification in Security/aviation Security. 3 years’ Minimum experience in Aviation/airlines operations.
• Knowledge of International and National Aviation regulations.
• Knowledge of International and national operational standards and requirements ensuring a safe and efficient Security Operations.
• Valid Dangerous Goods training.

3.SKILLS

• Proficiency in the English language adequate for his/her job functions
• Have safety and security awareness.
• Have cost/efficiency and quality awareness.
• Have Emergency response actions awareness.
• Have flexibility and ability to work under pressure and multitask.

4.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports Security incidents, accidents, violations/breaches and submits reports on time to Chief Security Security Officer or his designate for appropriate action.
• Alerts all concerned in case of emergency or security alert.
• Keeps the senior officers informed of all occurrences \incidents \security threats \violation of security rules on day to day basis and undertakes other related duties as required, to meet the exigencies of the service.
• Making recommendations to the Chief Security Officer to assist Management in the implementation of security policies and the need to review systems and procedures.
