JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Chinese translatort to accurately translate and interpret Chinese and English to facilitate effective Communication in the organisation
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Translating documents, contracts, manuals, reports, emails, and correspondence from Chinese to English and vice-versa while ensuring translated content retains it’s original meaning, tone, and context.
- Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy and grammar, maintaining confidentiality of all translated documents.
- Responsible for real-time Chinese-English bilingual translation in the organisation, connecting Chinese management with Zambian local staff and local partners, ensuring smooth daily production and communication without information errors.
- Translate during phone calls and video conferences.
- Resolve daily communication barriers between Chinese and local teams, ensure effective information transmission, adapt to the company’s production schedule, and follow work arrangements.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (speaking, reading, writing) - HSK 4/5/6 advantage
- Excellent listening and note-taking skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Responsible, patient, detail-oriented, obedient to management with good communication and teamwork skills, able to adapt to the organization's working environment.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
