Reports To: CEO / Chief Broking Officer
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and establish new client relationships to generate reinsurance broking business.
- Manage a portfolio of cedent accounts and maintain strong client relationships.
- Drive business growth through client acquisition, retention, and revenue generation.
- Coordinate with broking and technical teams to facilitate reinsurance placements and policy renewals.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential business from existing clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, market forums, and client meetings.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of client needs and provide appropriate reinsurance broking solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure consistent delivery of quality services.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years' insurance or reinsurance broking/client-management experience.
- Strong cedent relationships in Zambia and/or the wider region.
- A portable book of business is an added advantage.
- Proven business development track record.
- Membership of the Insurance Institute of Zambia (IIZA) is required.
- Full Grade 12 certificate with credits in English and Mathematics.
