JOB DETAILS:

Roles
• Preparation of weekly product specific revenue and expense reports
• Preparation of Margin and Profitability Reports by Product
• Review periodic operational expenses by department and cost centre
• Analyse the operational efficiencies of the various business units
• Track the various key expenses esp. labour, raw material, packaging procurements
• Prepare business unit specific budgets and profitability forecasts
• Prepare historical trend analyses to guide decision making
• Assist with product pricing decisions
• Review product performance against market trends
• Collaborate with Production Managers to achieve overall efficiencies
• Assist with negotiating terms and costs for production inputs
• Assist with initiatives to reduce operational costs
• Any other duties as may be assigned

Key Attributes
• Minimum 3 years work experience in accounting
• Qualified Accountant
• Auditing experience is an added advantage
• Experience working for Agri-processing an added advantage
• Good working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and any accounting package
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent Analytical skills
• Good negotiation skills
