Position: Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview:

The Mechanical Engineer oversees the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimal performance of mechanical systems, mills, crushers, pumps, and mobile plant, ensuring reliable and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of all plant mechanical equipment (crushers, ball mills, conveyors, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic circuits).
• Diagnose mechanical failures, develop root cause analyses, and implement corrective engineering solutions.
• Plan and execute planned maintenance shutdowns and routine mechanical servicing schedules.
• Ensure mechanical works adhere to occupational health, safety, and statutory environmental guidelines.
• Manage mechanical documentation, maintenance logs, and spare part requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, project management, and mining safety standards.
