JOB DETAILS:
Kalulushi Municipal Council invites applications from suitably qualified applicants to fill in vacant positions.
DURATION : SIX (6) MONTHS CONTRACT

JOB PURPOSE
To provide reliable security services in order to ensure prevention of crime and loss of property and life.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• The candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Provide effectively, reliable security services in order to prevent crime and loss of property and life
• Undertakes regularly patrols of designated areas in order to prevent crime and trespassing
• Maintains efficiently an occurrence book in order to facilitate accountability for occurrences
• Maintains effectively a register of vehicles and visitors in order to facilitate accountability for property

1.3 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
a) Minimum Primary/Secondary Education:
Grade 9/ Grade 12 Certificate/GCE
b) Minimum Vocation/Professional Qualifications
Certificate of Attendance in Security Training will be an added advantage
c) Communication Skills

i) Written Skills:
Basic to enable writing of understandable reports

ii) Oral Skills:
Basic to facilitate easy communication with the supervisor and the community he/she serves

d) Oral Skills/Attributes:
Strong, Reliable, Alert, Honest, Perseverant, Punctual, and physically fit.

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
